DA-M7 Microphone Capsule

Having tried other Dachman capsules, and generally liking them, I decided to spring for this one --their most expensive by far. Even on sale, it was still expensive for me... Well, in this case, I got what I paid for. This capsule sounds very nice indeed. I put it in an inexpensive donor mic (but which I had modded with much better caps and resisters), and wow, the difference from the stock capsule was obvious from the beginning. I tweaked a few components and called it good. Very good, actually. One of my best LDCs. Gave it a custom paint job in celebration!

Two notes: 1) in a mod, you will have to swap out the entire pedestal, because of how the capsule is mounted, they can't be easily separated. 2) Also, it is less sensitive that most modern designs, so the output is lower. But mine is quiet (ie not noisy).
