This microphone sounds incredible

Honestly, I was skeptical, but I have to say the tone of the microphone is beautiful. It is full bodied and yet airy and light at the same time. It seems to float above the music without needing much EQ in the mix. Kind of magical.

Amazing Microphone!

This microphone works amazingly with my voice for the voice acting work I’m doing. From commercials to dramatic narration, it covers it all. I did some singing with it as well and it sounded great. I have it paired with a Universal Audio Apollo Twin Quad interface going into Logic Pro DAW on my Mac Studio. Check out the attached sample I recorded last night for a project I’m working on.

As advertised. Impressive mic!

Very pleased with the performance of this mic. I purchased based on the reviews and company’s reputation and it has really delivered. I’m excited to get this utilized on more projects where guitar and vocals are recorded together. Placed accurately, the results of this mic across the frequency spectrum are impressive. With very little needed in post production - capturing the raw essence of an intimate performance. The highs are exactly where they need to be out of the box, the mids are crisp and somewhat warm, the lows are true. I’ve really only spent time in the cardioid pattern for what I’m working on. It’s just a really versatile microphone. And you cannot beat the price point. I would recommend this to anyone at any level of production skill.

Great Investment

This Dachman is a wonderful mic. Ive had the opportunity to use Neumann 87s manufactured since 2000 and rejected each and every one because they tended to sound harsh, almost brittle in the upper highs. Dachman’s take on the design simply doesn’t do that, offering the clarity of Neumann’s design but with a smooth and natural top end, suitable for just about anything you can throw at it.

Well done!
