Absolutely fantastic microphones

I was looking at purchasing a Neumann U87i when I happened across some reviews of the Dachman DA87i microphone on YouTube. Every one of the reviews gave the Dachman microphone the thumbs up - so I checked out the Dachman Audio website and found that they manufacture their own mic capsules under clean room conditions, no imported capsules from the usual eastern suppliers, a big bonus point in Dachman's favour I thought. As they had an introductory offer of $100 off the price of a new DA87i, I thought that I would give it a try. It arrived in the UK only a few days after ordering. It looked and felt like a superb piece of equipment, so I connected it up and ran some tests on it. My goodness, it is everything the reviews said - I do believe that it truly is the equal of the Neumann, and, at a much more favourable cost. It impressed me so much that I have now ordered one of their DA FET 47 mics as well. In my opinion, it is a true bargain - I am more than pleased with it. If the DA FET 47 turns out to be as good as I believe it will be, I may well be back again for their new DA 67 valved (tubed) microphone later in the year. I only wish that I had come across Dachman Audio microphones before I had started collecting well known and established (respected in other words) pro microphones from other very famous studio quality 'pro level' microphone companies. It's a genuine big thumbs up for Dachman microphones for sure.

DA 87i ranks among the highest quality microphones in the Recording Industry

We have been extremely pleased with the performance of the Dachman DA 87i. It performs as well as Neumann U87 Ai and other industry standard microphones and this os based on first hand use of such microphones in our studio. The DA 87i is a go-to vocal mic in our mic locker, excellent mic.
